🎄Christmas Celebration at Sophia School, Bikaner🎄

The spirit of Christmas lit up Sophia School, Bikaner, with joy, love, and festive cheer. The day began on a serene note with a heartfelt prayer service, invoking blessings of peace and goodwill. This was followed by a captivating skit on the Nativity, beautifully portraying the story of Christ’s birth and filling the air with divine reverence.

The celebration gained momentum as the students showcased their talents through melodious carols and vibrant dance performances by the kindergarten, primary, and secondary sections. Their enthusiasm and energy brought the festive spirit alive, leaving the audience spellbound.

A special highlight of the day was the arrival of Santa Claus, who spread joy and laughter, delighting everyone with his cheerful presence and warm gestures. The excitement doubled when our beloved Rev. Sister Principal surprised us with her mellifluous voice, performing a soulful song accompanied by Sr. Melania on the drum. It was a moment to treasure, leaving everyone awestruck.

Rev. Sister Principal also addressed the gathering with her inspiring words, encouraging everyone to embrace the true essence of Christmas—love, sharing, and togetherness. Adding to the joy, chocolates were distributed to the students, sparking smiles all around.

The celebration concluded with a beautiful gesture of exchanging gifts in the classrooms, fostering a sense of sharing and friendship among the students. It was a day filled with joy, warmth, and cherished memories, reminding everyone of the true meaning of Christmas.

The “Brainy Quest: Fun GK Challenge for Class 3” was an exciting event filled with fun and learning. Students from all four houses—Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow—participated with great enthusiasm.

The quiz had three interesting rounds:

Round 1: Questionnaire

Each house answered two questions in this round. The teams discussed and gave their answers confidently, setting a good start for the competition.

Round 2: Rapid Fire

This was the most thrilling round! Each house had 30 seconds to answer 5-6 questions quickly. The students amazed everyone with their sharp thinking and fast answers.

Round 3: Visual Round

In this round, two pictures were shown to each house. The teams had to identify or share information about the pictures. It was fun and tested their observation skills.

Results

After an exciting competition, Red House won the quiz with their great teamwork and knowledge. The other houses also performed well and made the event enjoyable.

The “Brainy Quest” was a big success, and all the students had a wonderful time learning and competing. Congratulations to Red House for their victory!

A Radiant Day of Grace: Mother General’s Visit to Sophia Senior Secondary School, Bikaner

Rev. Sister Goretti Dsouza, the esteemed Mother General of the Mission Sisters of Ajmer, graced Sophia Senior Secondary School, Bikaner, with her presence on a day themed “Jesus: The True Beacon of Light and Hope.” It was a celebration filled with devotion, joy, and heartfelt moments that inspired everyone present.

The day began with a serene prayer service led by Class 8, inviting blessings and setting a spiritual tone. The service beautifully echoed the theme, highlighting Jesus as the guiding light in life’s journey. This was followed by an enchanting prayer dance, a visual offering of gratitude and faith that mesmerized the audience.

A melodious welcome song expressed the school’s joy and respect, while the primary section students added vibrant energy with their lively dance performance. The charm of the day was further enhanced by the kindergarten students, whose innocent and adorable performance brought smiles to every face. A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered to express deep gratitude for the Mother General’s visit and the inspiration she imparted. The day culminated in her much-anticipated address, where her words, rooted in wisdom and compassion, reminded everyone of the boundless hope and love that Christ brings into our lives. This special day was more than just a celebration; it was a testament to the enduring values of faith and service. Truly, it was a radiant day of grace that will be cherished forever by the Sophia family.
